Velvety Venom
I’m DJnewton, a musician and a scientist. Sydney’s my home-base, but most days I’m mixing music and machines to create something that still feels human. People might call me an AI music architect but really, I’m just someone who loves telling stories that land with people, not just pushing sound around.
I use AI like a trusted tool in the shed. It’s handy but never gets the final say. Every track waits for a gut check - if it doesn’t spark or carry a thread of where it came from, it won’t make the cut.
What matters most is honesty - making music that keeps the human bit real. Technology’s here to serve, not replace us. I don’t release tracks unless the credits, the process and the meaning are all clear.
If you’re curious about how AI can actually help artists, want something that cuts through the noise, or just want proof music made with machines can still hit home, you’re in the right spot.
You won’t find me waiting for problems before I fix them. I build with intent from day one. Honest innovation is the aim. Sometimes you trust a hunch but I trust a plan more.
So, what’s the big idea?
Bringing AI into the mix but keeping the heart human.
Making sure every beat owes as much to craft as to code.
Backing the idea that Australia should lead by example on open and ethical tech, not just keep up.
I want the future to be one where people build with machines but keep the story in human hands.
Every track I put out follows these ideas. You’ll find slices of poetry, grit, future sounds and hopefully something that stays with you.
There’s a whitepaper too if you want to dig a little deeper into how I orchestrate my AI Agents through 'The Intelligence Superstructure' - just ask.
Where next
Have a listen to The Eliza Effect. That’s where person and program shake hands and make music that means something.
